The Jack London District Association is pleased to announce the launch of its supporters program based on the supporter types, contributions and benefits described below. Fees and benefits were based on feedback it received from a community wide survey carried out at the end of 2005.
JLDA is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization
JLDA has been awarded tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This means that some or all of your contributions to JLDA are deductible under section 170 of the Code. We are also eligible to receive tax deductible bequests, devices, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code. A copy of the notice of determination is available by request from info@jlda.org.

Supporter Benefits
Community Benefits
Our community benefits are available to everyone in the District regardless of whether they have become a paid supporter of JLDA. They include free subscription to our e-mail announcements list, and attendance at all our open meetings and events. Of course everyone also gets to benefit from the work that JLDA and our supporters do for the Jack London District community as a whole.
Standard Benefits
In addition to the standard community benefits all JLDA supporters will also receive the following:

- Discounts on JLDA merchandise
- Discounted or free JLDA event admission
Premium Residential Supporter
We're not sure what benefits our residential friends, patrons and sponsors might like, a free JLDA T-shirt or window decal perhaps? Or how about a personal listing as a benefactor on our website? Or even JLDA vanity email address? Maybe you could tell us if there is a reward you have in mind and we can work something out, just contact us using our feedback form after joining.
Business Supporter
In addition to community and standard benefits, our business supporters will also receive a free website listing for their business on our JLDA website. Although our website already lists many local businesses, those that join JLDA will be given an enhanced listing in a prominent position on the page.
Premium Business Supporters
Business that select to be a business patron or sponsor will also be eligible for discounted or free web advertising on the home page of our site, including your own custom graphics. Please contact JLDA for further information via our feedback form for details of advertisment pricing and discounts available.
Gold and Platinum Supporters
Anyone considering these supporter levels should certainly contact JLDA for further information and to discuss benefits we might be able to offer you for such a generous contribution to the neighborhood.
Supporting JLDA
The supporter contribution is for one year from the date of payment - you can pay by sending us a check, or online using a credit or debit card via PayPal (no PayPal account is required). To fill out a supporter signup form visit our on-line sign-up page and follow the instructions.
